Our Story
More Than an Organization
CLEAN Enterprises was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every person, regardless of their past or present circumstances, has the capacity to create meaningful change in their life and in the lives of those around them.
Founded in Columbus, Ohio, CLEAN grew out of a deep commitment to serving individuals who have faced systemic barriers — incarceration, poverty, family instability, and lack of opportunity. We recognized that traditional approaches often fell short, so we built something different: a values-based framework grounded in personal accountability, community connection, and practical action.
What started in multiple Ohio counties has grown into a nationwide movement. Today, CLEAN delivers programming across the country in fatherhood engagement, workforce readiness, professional development, reentry support, financial literacy, and leadership development. Our reach continues to expand — but our mission remains the same.
